Bandstop Filters

MM Microwave Bandstop filters provide an effective way of suppressing unwanted signals at spot frequencies or over narrow bands. Bandstop Filters exhibit very high rejection at the design frequency, together with a broad well-matched passband above and below, making them suitable for a variety of transmit and receive applications.

One or more bandstop filters can be combined with a bandpass filter to produce notches in the skirts giving enhanced rejection at spot frequencies in the response.

Waveguide units are suitable for high power applications, whilst the more compact coaxial types give excellent performance at low to medium power levels.

Construction is in high conductivity copper or lightweight aluminium alloy, and for extreme environments invar construction ensures excellent temperature stability

Waveguide or coaxial interfaces can be supplied in a variety of configurations to meet individual requirements.
