Waveguide Bends


MM Microwave can provide a wide range of waveguide bends in waveguide sizes WG6 (WR650) up to WG23 (WR22) and double ridge waveguide sizes. Both E & H planes versions are available. The bends are available in 90 degree versions for all waveguide sizes, and in the case of more popular waveguide sizes 30, 45 and 60 degree versions are available. Also half height waveguide versions are available for certain waveguide sizes.

The bends are supplied with either sockets for brazing to waveguide tube, or flanges. Whereas flanged bends are manufactured by a variety of methods with the majority being castings, but some are fabricated from machined components and/or castings.

Bends are typically supplied in aluminium or brass. Please contact the sales department if you require bends to be manufactured in any other material, or plated.

As well as electrical testing the bends can be pressure or leak detected if they are required to operate in a pressurised or evacuated system. Please contact the sales department to discuss your requirement.
