Together with the standard range of catalogue couplers we have a design capability to satisfy the customer who requires coupling values other than those shown in the catalogue. This enables us to give you a quick and accurate answer to any enquiry, as well as cutting development time to a minimum.
The Broad wall and narrow wall couplers are multi-hole construction and are designed using a Tchebyshev array to obtain high directivity with flat coupling response over a full waveguide band.
Coupling values ranging from10dB to 40dB can be realised with excellent directivity and a main line VSWR of 1:1.1. These couplers can be used for L.O and signal injection applications as well as in reflectometer systems and power sampling.
Unlike the larger multi-hole structures, crossguide couplers are of a much smaller and more compact construction. Coupling value of 20dB upto 60dB with good directivity can be achieved over large bandwidths. They can also be used for reflective measurements and attenuation. Couplers can be designed with integral coaxial adapters and terminations. Flanged ports to any International standards or customer drawing can be provided to suit all types of applications
