Corrugated Filters

MM-Microwave Corrugated lowpass filters offer high rejection over a limited stopband range, with extremely low passband insertion loss.
The stopband is reflective and power handling is high.

Corrugated filter units find extensive use in transmitter rejection applications, harmonic control and image suppression in radar and communications systems.

Two or more corrugated filter units with different cut off frequencies can be cascaded to extend the stopband upwards and form a bandpass filter assembly with very low loss and broad bandwidth.

Corrugated filter construction is normally in aluminium alloy, copper plated or iridite finished internally.

For higher frequencies solid copper construction is recommended for best possible performance.

Corrugated filter units can be supplied flanged or fitted with coaxial connectors as required.
